Terrific blog! It’s great that you’ve made such good use of what could have been a disaster.

I’ve mainly wandered onto readers blogs so far, and have enjoyed several of them, though their aftertaste is usually frustration at not having enough time to read the recommended novels. Yours is likely to seriously distract me from trying to develop my own, and my other writing projects.
It’s lovely to see so much space and thought given to poetry – I’m constantly torn between that and fiction in my own writing and reading.

Thrilled to find your blog. Bloody sad to hear you’ve been made redundant twice in two years. I’d be practically suicidal, I think, so I admire your verve. Freelancing is tough at the best of times. The economic crisis makes it as risky as tightrope-walking between two skyscrapers.
